Maven Interiors is still putting the finishing touches on our lovely project in Crosswater. See our previous blog post for background info on this home. I was able to spend time there recently installing draperies, custom bedding, etc. It was the first time that I have been on site that it didn't look like a construction zone. We are getting close....
Maven Interiors put the finishing touches on the lobby space at 3339 SE Division St. I should have some decent photos on my website soon, but in the meantime, here are some I took on the fly. A big shout out goes to my favorite art maven, Heidi McBride, for sourcing fabulous local artists that helped put the finishing touches on our vision for the space.
There are so many exciting projects happening on SE Division right now. We can't get enough of newcomers like Roman Candle, Salt and Straw, Sen Yai and are stoked about all the cool new businesses making plans to add their flavor to Portland's new hot spot. Maven Interiors has been hired by a couple of these businesses to help set them apart. One in particular is the 3339 building (home of Salt and Straw). We were asked by the owner/ developer, Urban Development Partners, to create a unique resident lobby. Here is the work in progress....
Maven Interiors was asked to renovate a home in the lovely Crosswater neighborhood outside of Sunriver, OR. We helped with the original interior design 6 years ago when the homeowners purchased this previously owned second home. Our newest update includes a full kitchen, laundry room, media room and master bathroom remodel. We also made some upgrades to the great room and dining room so the renovated areas blend seamlessly with the rest of the home. It's an ongoing project that should be complete before the holidays. Here are a few of the progress photo...
On my last visit to Sedona, I spent time on site analyzing artwork scale and placement. My client loves to collect art and plans to purchase some key pieces that will work beautifully in her new home. We spent time addressing site lines, how to balance the outdoor view (which is art in itself), and determining what size piece would hold key walls. We used blue tape to help us visualize...
Maven Interiors was hired to design a second home's interior in Sedona, AZ for a discerning client with dreams of a modern haven. Best of all, we get to travel to Sedona (who wouldn't love that?). Our client is a world traveler and provided a very clear vision on how she wanted her retreat to feel. Tribal zen became our guiding force. Here are photos of our ongoing installation...
